SPESSO fencing on clinker walls - a new look for an existing property

Classic clinker and a modern palisade fence

SPESSO is one of the most frequently chosen models in our offer. Its simple form and horizontal arrangement of profiles create an orderly composition that works well with different types of buildings.

In this project, we combined modern fence sections with existing clinker elements. The characteristic texture of the brick and the regular lines of the palisade fence complement each other, giving the fence a new look while preserving the traditional character of the property.

Made-to-measure fencing matched to the existing structure

Modernising fencing requires new elements to be matched to the existing conditions. Here, the spacing of the posts and the dimensions of the openings define the framework of the project.

We make all fencing elements to individual dimensions. Thanks to this, we were able to match the fence sections, pedestrian gate and gate to the existing clinker structure. We kept the layout of the fence and changed its appearance by installing new metal elements.

This is an example of a solution for property owners who want to refresh the front of their home and make use of the existing walls and posts.

Fence sections, a pedestrian gate and a gate in one style

The scope of the project included:

• SPESSO palisade fence sections by Velago,
• a pedestrian gate,
• a swing gate.

Using the same pattern throughout the fence made it possible to achieve a coherent effect. The pedestrian gate and the gate fit into the line of the fence sections, combining the entry area and the driveway into one composition.

Refreshing the property without rebuilding the walls

The most important change was giving the fencing a modern form while preserving the existing clinker. This project shows that modernisation does not always have to mean building everything from scratch.

Whether the existing walls can be reused depends on their condition and the installation conditions. So it is worth starting with an assessment of the existing structure and an accurate measurement, and then matching new elements to the specific property.

Here, the combination of clinker and the SPESSO model made it possible to achieve the intended effect: the classic base gained a modern, coherent finish.
